Judy Sheindlin: between $150 million and $250 million
Best known for being a no-nonsense TV judge, Judge Judy earns $47 million annually. A 1965 graduate of New York Law School, Judge Sheindlin was originally a corporate lawyer, though she quickly grew tired of it and choose to become a family court prosecutor. Back in 1982, she was appointed as a criminal court judge, in which she gained a reputation as a "tough" judge and presided over more than 20,000 cases. Lynn Toler: $15 million
Better called the judge from TV's Divorce Court since 2007, Lynn Toler formerly served as the sole municipal court judge from Cleveland Heights, OH for at least 8 decades. After receiving her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1984, she focused on civil law before becoming municipal court judge. In this role, she was known for enforcing nontraditional sentences, such as writing essays. In addition to presiding over divorce court, Lynn is the author of three novels.
John Branca: $50 million
A graduate of the UCLA School of Law, John Branca has had a lengthy career as an amusement and corporate lawyer with a focus on representing roll and rock acts and separate investors. He's represented more than 30 members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and is about pretty much every record of premier entertainment lawyers on earth. On a side note, he serves as the co-executor of Michael Jackson's estate.
Bill Neukom: $850 million
Currently serving as the creator and CEO of the World Justice Project, which is devoted to promoting the rule of law all over the world, Bill Neukom is a corporate lawyer who's famous for his philanthropy. After graduating from Stanford Law School in 1967, he worked at a small firm until he was asked to do work for Microsoft, that was in its beginning phases. Eventually, he became Microsoft's legal counsel, a position he held for 25 decades. Formerly, he had been an investor at the San Francisco Giants.
Robert Shapiro: $50 million
Currently a senior partner at Glaser, Weil, Fink, Jacobs, Howard, Avchen, and Shapiro, LLP, Robert Shapiro graduated from Loyola Law School in 1968 and began a career as a criminal attorney. After serving on O.J. Simpson's legal team (and representing several other celebrities), he chose to move into civil lawsuit. Besides his law career, he has written a children's publication and is a co-founder of LegalZoom and Shoedazzle.com.
Thomas Mesereau: $25 million
Additionally a criminal defense attorney (Are you noticing a trend?) , Thomas Mesereau graduated from Harvard University and The University of California's Hastings College of Law and has was named "Trial Lawyer of the Year for 2015" by the National Trial Lawyers. (He's won lots of other awards including "Criminal Defense Lawyer of the Year. ") He's notorious for carrying high stakes instances with impossible odds and receiving extraordinary results. He had been Michael Jackson's attorney when he had been acquitted of 14 child molestation charges and has won an unprecedented three federal criminal jury trials in a row. While his hourly rate is so large that it's not published, he also does pro bono work through the Mesereau Free Legal Clinic, look more ideas.
